Welcome to Chinese Camp
About Summer Camps
Welcome to Chinese is a Breeze! These summer camps are for beginning students of Mandarin Chinese. We sing songs, do crafts, play games, eat noodles, and learn about Chinese culture. All the while, each student will review basic Mandarin.
Any Chinese Immersion students, 1st - 3rd grades, are encouraged to join in the fun at Chinese Camp!
2025 Camp Dates

1st Graders - July 7-10
Children who are going into 1st grade immersion programs are welcome to join. No language skills needed; basic classroom phrases will be taught.

2nd Graders - Aug 4-7
Children going into 2nd grade immersion programs are invited to attend.
This session is FULL.
Please email me (velcollett@gmail.com) if you would like me to put your child’s name on a waiting list. I can contact you in case someone drops out.
OR- you could gather 7 other kids and form your own session. Check the registrations page for details.

3rd Graders - July 16-19 (K. Chipping's Private Group) and July 28-31 (open to Public)
Kiddos going into 3rd grade are welcome to join in this session.
